Lab Monitoring

DNA contamination is a serious problem in laboratories where the PCR-technology is frequently used. Small amounts of contaminating amplicon or target DNA can lead to PCR artifacts and false positive results.
Originating from aerosols in centrifuges, pipettes, and other lab equipment or from accidental spills, contaminant DNA is very hard to remove and can lead to cross-contaminations between samples and to misinterpretation of results, inaccurate data, false positives, or artifacts.

Our DNA-free lab monitoring kits can be used at regular time intervals to collect and test samples from potentially contaminated surfaces and/or equipment.

With simple sample collection and testing procedures, our products help you quickly monitor DNA contaminations, so to promptly schedule cleaning measures, if contaminations are detected.
