Dr. Dirk Vollenbroich, Managing Director and founder of Minerva Biolabs GmbH

He studied biotechnology and acquired a doctorate in biochemistry from the Technical University of Berlin. He gained invaluable experience within the field of molecular diagnostics during his research work at the Robert Koch Institute and at the Louisianna State University Medical Center.

Dr. Nicola Ott, Head of Research & Development

After studying biology at the University of Hamburg, she gained a Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry at the University Medical Centre of Hamburg-Eppendorf. Prior to coming to Minerva Biolabs she developed molecular test methods in the pathology department at the hospital “Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin” and at the University Medical Centre of the Charité Berlin.

Doreen Wachauf, Quality Representative

As a certified medial-technical laboratory assistant with log term work experience and a certificate in quality management auditing. Doreen is in charge of examination and improvement of the QM System of the company.

Sandra Vierich, Head of Production

Sandra is a certified Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant. She is responsible for the production. Sandra worked many years in different research laboratories at the University Medical Centre of the Charité Berlin. Here she developed her skills to organize resources for high yield throughput.

Nicola Schulte, Head of Administration

Nicola is responsible for all administrative matters of the company, including customer orders and accounting statements. She owns a strong background in financial affairs, international shipping, dangerous goods handling.
